Words can’t describe how absolutely perfect Villa Semadhi is.

The pictures and descriptions of this place just really can't do it justice. Words can’t describe how absolutely perfect Villa Semadhi is. My husband and 5 of our best friends spent a week here in October and it was the closest to heaven I’ve ever felt. I don’t even know where to start... the plumeria growing everywhere carried the scent of sweet flowers on the breeze, while also decorating the paths and pools. The statues and art were beautiful and tasteful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. One of my favorite parts about this place was that no one had to stay in a “crappy” room. All of the rooms were special and beautiful. The food was AMAZING! I’m a professionally trained chef, so probably a little pickier than some, and I didn’t have a single thing from chef Jero that was anything less than fantastic. The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. They were always there when you needed them, but never intrusive or overbearing. We spent days lounging on the day bed by the pool of down on the deck by the ocean, we even saw a whale right in front of the villa! I’d highly recommend going to restaurant Suma and the spa at Sumberkima Hill retreat, also owned by Jane and Bernard. They even opened a villa up for our group to watch the sunset and have drinks before going down to the restaurant. I’ve never felt more relaxed and taken care of in my life. This place is truly special, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found it. A piece of my heart will always be at Villa Semadhi! ❤️🙏

Nice to meet you ! We are Bernard en Jane, both born in The Hague in the Netherlands and love travelling. In 1991 we started a trip around the world and fell in love with Bali. We returned several times but after having children mainly had Europe as holiday destination. When we went back to Bali with the family in 2008 we found the perfect place to build our future home in paradise. It was a bit of a shock for us to see how busy the south had become in 2008. A lot had changed in 15 years. We found the relaxed atmosphere in Pemuteran that we loved and the conditions that we think will keep this place special for the future. The scenery around the bay is magnificent and for snorkeling and diving it is probably the best spot in Bali. The people are special and the community is very much involved in protecting the area. It is a privilege to be there. In 2014 we have started a new larger project in the neighbouring village called Sumberkima Hill. You are welcome to check that out; The Unique Benefits of Villa Semadhi: A guest that stayed with us at Villa Semadhi mentioned that the villa is a destination by itself. He felt so relaxed and just liked being there, enjoying the scenery and listening to the waves, sitting by the sea. The garden is very large compared to most villas in Bali, giving it a sense of space. The style is traditional and there are many large trees, giving the impression that the house belongs there. Add to the experience a friendly staff that takes care of all your needs seems like all the ingredients are there for a serene holiday in Paradise.
